Management Team
Managing Director: Iain Morrison
Iain Morrison was born in the UK and trained as Civil Engineer. Iain has held a number of senior management positions in multinational companies including Moore International of Canada and Strålfors AB of Sweden. Iain has a strong entrepreneurial track record, having founded his own company, Thamesdown Computer Supplies Ltd in 1995. He subsequently sold the company, and went on to found Swindon-based Media Plant Ltd. Iain joined Sunstroom in 2006 as a partner, Managing Director and Board member. Since he joined, the company has grown significantly and successfully thanks to his fundraising connections and experience.
Development Manager: Reinout F.J. Das
Reinout Das is an Economist, born in the Netherlands. His family has been involved in the energy industry in the Netherlands since 1925, particularly electricity. Reinout previously worked for Smits (now Ahold), the major Dutch food group and, following that, directed the family’s Satellite dish factory in Malaga, Spain. Reinout has held various management positions in both Spain and South America and, prior to jointly founding Sunstroom, he directed a large Spanish media group (Magazines, TV and CD DVD production) for 8 years. Reinout is now a Director and Board member in Sunstroom and works in business development.
Development Manager: David Diaz de Cerio
David Diaz de Cerio, Economist and MBA, was born in Navarra, Spain. He worked in the production department of the Volkswagen Factory in Pamplona and from there moved on to the quality department of Lucas Girling, the international car part manufacturer. Prior to co-founding Sunstroom, David held the positions of Chief Purchase Officer and later on Assistant Managing Director at Digipack Optical Disc in Pamplona. David has been a Director and Board member of Sunstroom since 2006 and is responsible for driving the Company’s growth.
Canadian Director and Manager of Business Development: Miriam Kleber
Miriam Kleber is born and raised in Ontario. She is managing the new Canadian office as our Director and Manager of Business Development. With a back ground in computer systems and administration she has extensive experience in designing, developing and maintaining applications within the manufacturing, oil & gas and financial industries. With skills in project management she will also work with others in the company to co-ordinate current and new business projects.
UK Director: Anthony Hibbard
Anthony is a farmer's son from the South West of England. He spent his formative years in banking and agronomy. Anthony founded plumbers merchant Plumbstop Ltd in 1991. Having recently sold his stake-holding in Plumbstop, he has joined Sunstroom as a UK director, applying his business experience, land use knowledge and landowner contacts to help replicate the Company's overseas success here in the UK.
Technical Director: Ricardo Aicua
Ricardo is from Pamplona in Spain and studied Electrical Engineering in both Pamplona and Mondragon. After his studies he worked for Ikerlan in Mondragon, Spain, and at the TRW plant in Pamplona, and prior in joining Sunstroom, for the last 8 years Ricardo Aicua was the Managing Director of Berrueza, one of Spain’s Electrical Distribution companies, Ricardo has an enormous knowledge on the distribution and generation of electricity and leads the Construction and Mainantance department of Sunstroom.
